The Center for Great Commission Studies at Southeastern is pleased to announce a revised policy for mission trips concerning COVID vaccinations. In recent weeks, our sending partners have adjusted their policies and we want to align with their practices.

Due to better conditions and global access to countries worldwide, the CGCS will adopt our national and international missions partners (NAMB & IMB) policies regarding COVID-19 vaccinations. We feel incredibly confident in their leadership and decision making throughout this process. Our desire above everything is to protect our students and those to whom they minister as they bring the gospel to the nations. It is with this desire in mind that the CGCS has elected to update our policy.

In summary, COVID-19 vaccinations will no longer be required for all SEBTS mission trips. CGCS vaccination requirements will be field based, as some international destinations may have different polices regarding vaccinations. On domestic trips, the CGCS will remain in accordance with CDC guidelines to best protect our students and those they serve. Although vaccinations will no longer be required for all trips, they are still highly encouraged. By having the COVID-19 vaccine, there will much more flexibility that comes with each trip, as you never know what opportunities may arise that require vaccinations.
