Description of position

The CGCS Missions Fellow helps enrich the work of the Center for Great Commission Studies in the area of diaspora missions. The current project focuses on researching Arabic-speaking communities in the Triangle area in partnership with a local church. The Fellow will then help transform this research into publications designed to assist Arabic immigrant families as they transition into life in the area.

How many hours a week will I work?

Up to seven hours

How does the position get compensated?

The tuition for one class per semester is covered.

Can you receive compensation another way if you do not need a class paid for?

Unfortunately, you cannot receive any other form of compensation. The only payment possible is for tuition of one of your classes to be covered. This is applied after any scholarships you might have.

What qualifies me for this position? 

The Research Fellow must be pursuing a master’s degree (or higher). Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are essential, along with a genuine interest in missions and diaspora work.
