Mission Trip Prospectus
" indicates required fields
The Center for Great Commission Studies (CGCS) sponsors several mission trips each year. We go, literally, around the globe. Some trips will focus on evangelizing the lost, while others will concentrate on discipling national leaders to reach their own people. Some trips will be to unreached people groups, while others will be to fields yielding a great harvest. At the center of this variety, however, is a unifying focus: that healthy, reproductive churches are planted among every people group of the world. SEBTS mission trips aim primarily to equip students to fulfill their lifetime roles in the Great Commission and, secondarily, to assist IMB missionaries in their strategic tasks. Considering this goal, professors are encouraged to organize trips in conjunction with IMB and/or NAMB personnel. Those wishing to organize trips through other field partners must seek approval and offer justification for such trips in the mission trip prospectus.
Faculty and adjuncts can submit a proposal for a trip fitting the overall goals and focus of SEBTS mission trips. The Director and the Associate Director of the CGCS review all mission trip prospectuses. Therefore, professors must submit their initial prospectus to the CGCS at least
one calendar year
before the date of the trip. This timeline allows professors and students to plan for the trip, for SEBTS to advertise the trip, and for travel agents to find acceptable ticket fares. Please address any questions to the CGCS about how to prepare this mission trip prospectus.

Estimated Trip Cost and Details
Below is a breakdown of the trip cost. This is the cost that the CGCS will have to pay, not the cost that you are asking a student to pay. We know that prices are subject to change, but we would like to have a rough estimation of what the trip may cost. We will gather more accurate information in the months to come.
Proposed Flight Itinerary
Please input a couple options for the flight path that one could take to your intended location with current price estimates for your timeframe. Include leaving airport and destination aiport. These can easily be found on Google by
Estimated Cost for Airfare
Please look up this information for the estimated number of students per trip. This will change the pricing per ticket. For groups, the price of a ticket is typically increased, so we ask you to check this out.
