Are you a current student or recently graduated student of SEBTS serving or about to serve on the field?
If so, our office would love to be a part of supporting you in your journey! To do so, our office is beginning a new initiative: prayer cards. This initiative is two-fold.
1. We want to digitally display prayer cards on our site (securely if need be). We have set up a prayer card of the day in an effort to grow prayer for missionaries. There is also a repository that holds all prayer cards that people can use to pray.
2. We want to print 500 physical cards for those who are about to go to the field.
Who Qualifies?
Digital Cards: Any alumni or student currently in the field! This goes for North American church planters and international missionaries.
Physical Cards: Any current student or recent alumni (graduated less than one year ago) planning to go to the field (North American church planting or international).
Process
To initiate the prayer card process, you will need to submit one of the two forms below (digital only or physical and digital). Our team can create digital prayer cards anytime. On the form, you will let us know if you want us to post a card you have created or indicate you want us to create a digital card for you. You will also indicate your preferences on the form, as well as provide the necessary information. We will then draft a card and send to you for approval before uploading the digital card to our website.
For physical cards the process is a little different. After submitting the form, your submission will go to our team. We will then create a draft of a physical card to send for your approval. After your approval, we will move the prayer card into the que for printing. For more printing information, see the sections below.
Submission Dates
In order to have your prayer cards entirely covered by our office, you will need to submit the prayer card form by one of the following dates:
February 21st, May 21st, August 21st, or November 21st.
If you do not submit your prayer card by one of the dates above and you want the prayer card printed before the next printing cycle, we ask that you pay the shipping cost. Our office will cover the cost of the cards.
Printing Cycle
We will print all submitted prayer cards in batches four times a year:
March 1st, June 1st, September 1st, and December 1st.
The prayer cards take 2 weeks to arrive and will be sent to our office in Wake Forest (unless a major exception is necessary). We will notify you upon the arrival of your prayer cards to our office.
If you would like your prayer card printed off cycle (not batched with other cards), we ask that you cover the cost of shipping for your cards (anywhere from 15 to 20 dollars).
