What is IMB Residency?

Missions Residency is a 4–13-month cross-cultural mission experience for 18–29-year-olds who want to serve alongside IMB teams while discerning a future in missions. Residents participate in strategic gospel ministry, receive intentional discipleship and training, and gain practical ministry experience that prepares them for potential mid-term (2 years) or long-term (3+ years) missionary service.

If you’re exploring a future in missions, Missions Residency offers a season of deeper service. Live and serve alongside IMB missionaries while growing in faith, ministry skill, and clarity about your next step.
