Global Missions Week 2026

Prayer Walk

Station 1: Binkley Chapel

Pray for upcoming North American trips

Clarkston, Georgia over Spring Break

  • Clarkston is known as a diverse city with over 150 people groups represented.
  • Pray for refugees in Clarkston who have experienced severe trauma poverty, and the devastations of war. Please pray for peace in the refugee community.
  • Pray for the mobilization of local churches to serve faithfully in Clarkston. There are many gospel opportunities to serve and reach peoples from several nations across the globe.
  • Pray for those trapped in poverty, trafficking, and family crises to see hope in the gospel and help in their time of need.
  • Pray for students to serve with the Send Relief team through GenSend this summer.

Los Angeles over Spring Break

  • This city is home to people from more than 140 countries, speaking 224 different identified languages. Pray that God would prepare and soften the hearts of those in and around Los Angeles who will hear the gospel.
  • Pray for the church plants that the team will partner with in North Hollywood and Burbank. Pray that our students would be a genuine encouragement and blessing to them.
  • Pray that our students would thoughtfully wrestle with and discern God’s calling on their lives, particularly as it relates to urban ministry.

Station 2: Adams Hall

Pray for upcoming International trips

Uganda over Summer Break

  • Pray that the Lord would raise up women to join this trip.
  • Pray that the SEBTS women who come on this trip would catch a vision for the nations and the many ways they can participate in God’s mission both at home and around the world.
  • Pray for the women we serve in Uganda. Pray that the Lord would give them a love for the Scriptures, a heart for teaching others, and a vision for using biblical counseling principles to minister to those around them who are hurting.

Slovenia over Summer Break

  • Our team will partner with local Christians and missionaries in Slovenia who have recently planted a new church in a village.
  • Pray for this new church plant as they get established and begin meeting in the community.
  • Pray for the evangelism training our team will lead—for those who will attend, that they would feel equipped and confident, and that God would open meaningful opportunities to share the gospel as we put the training into practice.
  • Pray for individuals that we will meet who need to hear the gospel. Pray for our team that they will be able to model well good evangelism for this new church plant.

Station 3 - Library

Pray for Journeymen

  • If there is a Journeyman in your group, have them share a few prayer requests from the country where they served.
  • Pray for the church to persevere and be united in the Journeyman’s country of service. Pray for believers to be discipled and leaders to be trained up.
  • Pray that the Gospel would move forward among those who have yet to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ in this country.

If you do not have a Journeyman in your group, pray for Chloe Rutherford who is going to serve in Portugal.

  • Pray for her visa process to keep moving forward. Pray that she would be able to get an appointment with the visa office soon.
  • Pray for her and the other missionaries who are currently at training with the IMB. Pray for good connections with people as they go out to share the Gospel in local neighborhoods.

Station 4 - Appleby Hall

Pray for missionaries on the field

The Lipscomb family in Tokyo, Japan

  • The Japanese are only 0.05% Christian, meaning the vast majority of the 38 million people in their city are lost. Pray for opportunities to regularly share the gospel with those who have never heard and ask the Lord to soften hearts and draw many to Himself.
  • Pray for deep, genuine friendships in Tokyo—for open doors into relationships in a city that can be isolating and slow to trust.
  • Pray for their spiritual health, marriage, and endurance, that they would remain rooted in Christ as they serve.
  • Pray for continued growth in Japanese language ability and cultural understanding, that they would communicate the gospel clearly, humbly, and relationally.

Paul and Mary in a Southeast Asia city

  • Paul and Mary have been serving in East Asia and Southeast Asia, focusing on theological education and urban church planting. In September, they will transition to Southeast Asia to continue their missionary tasks.
  • Pray that Paul will be able to complete his PhD by August 2026 before the transition.
  • Pray that Paul and Mary will be able to get appropriate visas before September to their new destination.
  • Paul and Mary will be returning to the field as empty nesters. Please pray for their young adult children who are staying in the US for university.
