His murder was put on Facebook. But his family’s message of forgiveness could be his legacy.

A tragic story leads to a powerful witness for Christ.

“Robert Godwin Sr. was killed on Easter, the most important day of the liturgical calendar for Christians. It is the time when believers worldwide commemorate the death of Jesus Christ who gave his life for his enemies. Scripture teaches that on the cross Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do” (Luke 23:34).”

 

Marriage is Not the Mission

“But then one night God gently confronted me.

He taught me something so simple, yet so revolutionary: marriage was not my mission. She, in all her glory, was not why I breathed. My life was to be lived for Him, not her. I was commissioned with a higher mission than matrimony.”

Should we care About Safety on Short-Term Mission Trips?
