Today, pray for a missionary family serving in Africa, sharing the Good News in a place where there are few believers and few churches. He’s running an English center where they are able to meet students and share with them outside of the classroom. They are working in two different cities, but their ministry reaches across the region where there are between 20 and 25 million people.
“Let our hearts be filled with the assurance that prayer offered in living faith in the living God will bring certain and abundant answer.” – Andrew Murray
Missions is not a solitary effort. Our men, women, and families depend upon your prayers on behalf of their people and ministries. [Tweet “Today, you can invest in a missionary through prayer as we highlight their work and needs.”] Join with the CGCS in this incredible opportunity to touch the nations and to encourage our SEBTS international missionaries. Here are some specific requests from our missionary serving in Africa:
- Pray for us as we work through the English center to meet people and share with them.
- Pray for our team as we welcome new people to the field and for all of us as we learn the culture and the language.
- Pray for the people of the Delta region of this country that many will hear and that we will make disciple-making disciples!
The Great Commission Studies (CGCS) is the hub of Southeastern’s Great Commission efforts, helping develop students and faculty members who are Great Commission servants of their local churches. The CGCS serves the Southeastern community in four major areas: academics, research, mobilization, and convention relationships.
