Today, pray for a missionary family serving in Africa. There are many people throughout the world who still have never heard the Gospel message. This past week, they had the opportunity of coming together with other missionaries from their region. They were able to have a great time of fellowship and met their colleagues, hearing about where they live and the ministry they are doing. Many of these missionaries are living in difficult places, some working among unreached people groups who have never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pray for them as they boldly seek to proclaim the message of Christ.
They covet our prayers over this next month. They have some exciting new opportunities for ministry. Two missionary women will be teaching literacy classes in villages at least once a week and one has opportunities with some other moms that live in the same area. There is a weekly play group that takes place; pray for her as she seeks to build relationships with these ladies who are not Christians and for opportunities to share her faith with them.
Pray for this missionary as he begins to prepare for classes next term, which begin at the end of April . He will continue teaching New Testament Survey, and I will also be doing book study classes on Zechariah and 1 John. Pray for the students as they travel from their homes back to the seminary.
“We ought to always give thanks to God for you, brothers, as it is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing.”
2 Thessalonians 1:3
