Today, Pray for a Missionary in SE Asia

PrayForSEAsiaPray for a missionary serving in a city of 10 million people in Southeast Asia. She has lived in this city for over a year and has seen God move in miraculous ways. Several college students have accepted Christ through English Clubs where she teaches the “Creation to Christ” story. She has also been sharing with her teacher while serving there. Her teacher is slowly becoming more open to the Gospel and was recently given her first bible. She is a Buddhist, but told the missionary there, she feels empty and is searching for more. This is the case with most people in her area of the world- they are empty and in need of a Savior. He is working there and opening the eyes of the lost.

“Let our hearts be filled with the assurance that prayer offered in living faith in the living God will bring certain and abundant answer.” – Andrew Murray

Missions is not a solitary effort. Our men, women, and families depend upon your prayers on behalf of their people and ministries. Each Tuesday you can invest in a missionary through prayer as we highlight their work and needs. Join with the CGCS in this incredible opportunity to touch the nations and to encourage our SEBTS international missionaries. Here are some specific requests from our missionary serving in Southeast Asia:

1. Pray for discipline in learning the language so that I can share the gospel with Southeast Asians in their heart language.
2. Pray for team unity – that we would sharpen one another, speak truth, encourage and love one another well so that others would see the love of Christ in us.
3. Pray that I would live a selfless, generous, joyfilled life, glorifying God in all I say and do.
