We’re proud to offer the opportunity for women to go to London in May of 2015. A major goal is to introduce SEBTS women (students or wives of students) to life on the mission field, especially to give them an opportunity to observe and work with other women who are meeting the challenge and high calling of raising a family along with the responsibilities of fulfilling their calling and obligation to the IMB as missionaries. Predominately, this trip is for those who are looking at a term of service (or more) on the international mission field.
Participants will have many opportunities to share faith on the field, while spending time with new missionaries on the field to observe their challenges and have a glimpse of balancing life in a foreign country. This trip will highlight different types of ministry with nationals to show women they can have a ministry outside the home–ESL, student ministry, women/children’s work, prayer walking, etc. You’ll have ample time to shadow a missionary on the field to see what grocery shopping, dealing with house help, dealing with interruptions, caring for children, doing ministry and meeting nationals looks and feels like overseas. Here are some more details:
Dates: May 16-23, 2015
